How does the free business valuation work?
You enter your VAT number or company name together with your name, email address and phone number. We retrieve your company's latest filed annual accounts and calculate an indicative value based on EBITDA. The result appears on your screen immediately.
How is the value calculated?
We start from the EBITDA (operating result before depreciation) in the latest annual accounts and multiply it by a multiple that increases with the size of the company: from roughly 2× for very small businesses to 10× for large ones. Debt, cash, real estate and sector-specific factors are not part of this first indication.
What do I need?
Only your VAT number or company name. You don't have to type in any figures: we use the data your company filed publicly with the National Bank.
Is it really free?
Yes. The valuation is free and without obligation. There are no hidden costs and you don't need to create an account.
How accurate is the valuation?
It is an indication, not a formal valuation. The outcome gives a realistic order of magnitude based on market-standard multiples, but does not take your specific situation into account. If you are considering a sale, acquisition or financing, have a tailored valuation carried out by a specialist.
Who is this tool for?
For owners and directors of Belgian companies (BV, NV, CV, …) that file annual accounts with the National Bank. Sole traders do not file annual accounts and therefore cannot be valued automatically.
Why can't the tool find my company?
This can happen if no annual accounts have been filed yet, if the latest accounts do not contain a usable EBITDA, or if the business is a sole proprietorship. In that case, contact us and we will see how else we can help.
What happens to my data?
Your name, email address, phone number and VAT number are stored to deliver your valuation and, if you wish, to help you further. We do not sell your data. You can request or delete it at any time via the links at the bottom of the page.
Can I use this tool if I want to sell my company?
Yes. An indicative value is a good starting point to decide whether a sale is realistic and which asking price is defensible. If you would like to discuss this, get in touch.
